Peaceful Seclusion on Farmland with Woods, Pastures and Creeks

Nugent Hollow Cabin is a very comfortable and private cabin located on farmland with woods, pasture and creeks in Rogersville, Alabama (Lauderdale County in Northwest Alabama - five miles from the Tennessee River). It is a great place for: visitors to the area for fishing, golfing, sightseeing, antiquing, local festivals, and business -- a get-together with friends and family -- out-of-town guests -- celebrating a special occasion -- playing music, writing, painting, scrap booking and stamping -- or a night of rest. The living room is the log part of the cabin built by my great-great-grandfather in the late 1800's. Steps lead to the creek and a small screened room. There is also a picnic area with fire pit and cedar furniture.

  • The cities of Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, Athens, Decatur, Huntsville, Courtand and Lexington are all located within a forty-mile radius.

Rates:
  • Friday and Saturday night, holidays, and one-night stays -- $100.00 per night for two
  • Sunday through Thursday night -- $86.00 per night for two
  • Add $7.00 per night for each additional guest
  • $25.00 minimum fee for retreats, reunions, guests, etc.
  • No charge for the seventh night
  • Firewood supplied at cost -- $10.00 minimum each for firewood used in the fireplace and fire pit
  • No discounts available
  • Rates are subject to a 11% lodging tax
  • A $100.00 security deposit is required to hold the reservation. If deposit is paid with a credit card (AmEx, Visa or M/C), it will be charged to the card at the time reservation is made. If paying with personal check or money order, it must be received wtihin seven days of making the reservation. Make payable to Nugent Hollow Cabin and mail to P.O. Box 591, Rogersville, AL 35652. Rental for the cabin is due upon arrival. The $100.00 security deposit will be refunded after inspection of the cabin. Deductions will be made for firewood, damaged property, and a $25.00 minimum fee for the need of excessive cleaning (including garbage, broken glass and cigarette butts on the property).

  • If cancellation is made within 10 days of arrival date, the deposit will be refunded only if the cabin is rebooked. A $10.00 fee is charged for all cancellations.
